Boise Homes by Neighborhoods

The Vibrant Boise GreenbeltBoise homes range from the historic North End houses to the newer subdivisions close to Meridian, with every other kind of home in the middle.  You can find luxury homes on five-acre plots in the foothills or trendy apartments downtown or modest houses in the suburbs or some mixture of any of these.

There is so much to do and see in Boise.  Downtown boasts shopping, restaurants, theaters, services, and so much more.  Hyde Park, part of the historic North End, boasts restaurants and specialty shops in a beautiful setting.  Boise oftens hosts cultural events, such as the Basque Jaialdi.  Additionally, not only is downtown a fun place to visit, but it is a vibrant, growing place to do business.

There are parks galore here, including the photogenic Kathryn Albertson Park, Julia Davis Park, and Ann Morrison Park, which are popular for community events.  Adjoining Julia Davis Park are the Boise Art Museum, Zoo Boise, and the Discovery Center.  Also in the downtown area is Boise State University, home of the nationally-acclaimed Broncos.  Right by BSU are the Boise River and the Greenbelt, which cut through the city and offer a scenic place to run, bike, stroll, fish, and boat.  Other picture-perfect locations popular with the local photographers are the Boise Train Depot, with its ponds, trees, and train tracks, the Capitol building itself, the Old State Penitentiary, and the Botanical Gardens--this last item especially in the winter when the gardens are full of lights.

A Beautiful Pond in IdahoThough there is much to love within the city, arguably the best is outside it.  The Ridge to Rivers trail system winds through the foothills right by Boise, offering world-class mountain-biking and hiking.  Pristine camping spots are not far away; neither are Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area nor Lucky Peak Reservoir.

Boise has easy access to the surrounding area.  The interstate cuts through the city, helping residents travel outside the valley easily, as well as reach Nampa and Caldwell in a snap.  Eagle, Meridian, and Kuna with all they offer are also easy drives away.

The Boise School District covers much of the city, though part of Boise actually lies within the Meridian School District’s boundaries.
