It also boasts some impressive specialty stores and antique stores with many coffee shops.
Table Rock
Residents enjoy this local mountain for a good hike or drive. Table Rock is a fairly rounded hill with a flat summit surrounded by cliffs, making it look like a giant table. It's a fantastic peak, and is climbed by many via a trail system that makes it easily accessible for nearly everyone.
Camel's Back Park
Camel's Back Park is situated in the North End of Boise, and is so named after the giant ascending hill at the base of the foothills. People go to Camel's Back Park to enjoy volleyball, tennis, the practice fields, and the playground.
Arrowrock Dam and Reservoir
This dam was once the tallest dam in the world! It doesn't experience quite as much crowd as other Boise destinations, and you can enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, and playing with the dogs. Plus, it has great breathtaking views.
Idaho Botanical Garden
These gardens offer hundreds of flowers and trees with trails that weave their way amongst the beautiful plant life. The Botanical Gardens hold events that are great for families, and you can't miss the lights during the Christmas season.
