Visual Arts Collective(VAC) is a beautiful contemporary fine art gallery. With a performance venue and cultural center in Garden city, Idaho. This is a 21 and over only establishment and a valid ID is always a requirement. This is Boise’s first multi-disciplinary arts facility and also does private events. They have art exhibitions that change, and also have other live night shows(comedy, plays and so much more). You can also host private events depending on the day and run Sunday through Thursday from $450-$1050. This venue can sit down 175-250 (depending on how you arrange the chairs) and 386 standing.

Western Idaho Fair, Expo Idaho is a wonderful fair that is a self-supporting entity of Ada county, ID during the end of August. Meaning they use no taxpayer dollars are used for any ground improvements, capital outlays, ambiance salaries, or supplies. They have lots of rides, like carosoul, log ride, fireball rides and each you need tickets(rides require a few tickets). Or you can buy an all day game bracelet and entry for $30. They also have ground acts for theater acts and stage shows for musicians in the area. This is also a great place to enter an exhibit and show off some of your talents, for gardening, artwork, and cooking. With promotional days they have events and for discounts, though every day you have an Idaho Statesman fair coupon book for $5 on food and events at the park.

Willow Lane Athletic Complex is a beautiful 57 acre, special use park. This is adjacent to the Boise river greenbelt, it has athletic complexes such as softball fields, soccer fields, playground, and dirt jump park. This last year there is a shade structure has been installed between the fields. They have a BMX jump park, the jump park is for beginners who are just going on for the first time or those who need a challenge. During softball games, they have concessions with fast food, soft drinks, and alcoholic drinks. The park operation hours are from sunrise to sunset, and the lighted ball fields are open until 11 pm. Restrooms are available, but not during the winter due to the cold. Smoking is prohibited at the park and any unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense. There are also several areas of the park that features wetlands that will be worked on with grasses, willows, and cottonwood both from planting and natural regeneration. There are also master places with a concept drawing for what they plan along with amenities that are currently and not currently in the park.

Boise Bingo (it's in Garden City though), located at 5443 N Glenwood st, in Garden city Idaho. The cost for Bingo depends on the game, machine rental $4, you get three pack min, 1 bonanza per pack, 3 extra just for renting. And $8 for all packs or $6 per pack on Monday and Wednesday with a minimum of two packs. Westy's Garden Lanes is a Bowling alley and sports bar is located at 5504 W Alworth Street, Garden City, ID 83714. Open from 9 am to 11 pm Sunday to Thursday and 9 am to 12 am Friday and Saturday, you can go any time of the day. They serve a wonderful menu with breakfast, appetizers, lunch and dinner. Rates for bowling are by game, hourly, specials, military, and junior & senior. They also have leagues compete in bowling tournaments every night of the week in the evening along with longer tournaments(lasting weeks).
