Northeast Boise Homes by Neighborhoods

The homes of East Boise range from little houses built in 1900 to new mansions in the foothills. You can find city condos, modest homes in quiet neighborhoods, estates priced at over three million dollars on the river, or homes in the hills on over twenty acres of land. One especially popular area is Warm Springs Avenue, historic and stately. With so much variety, there's guaranteed to be something for every kind of buyer, though overall the area, including the Boise East End, tends to be higher-priced.

East Boise is only minutes away from downtown Boise, where you can find just about anything. There are unique restaurants from different cultures, theaters, concert halls, nightlife, all kinds of services, and more. East Boise is also the home of the Idaho Botanical Gardens, a beautiful place that often hosts concerts and other outdoor events, the Old Idaho State Penitentiary, the Idaho Museum of Mining, and the outdoor theater of the Idaho Shakespeare Festival.

Northeast Boise is inside the Boise School District, which has a reputation for excellent schools of all kinds. The district offers many alternatives to traditional education, from Montessori to dual-immersion programs to classical education and beyond.

Northeast Boise is ideally situated for any lover of the outdoors. Right across from Warm Springs Avenue is the trailhead for several trails for both bikers and pedestrians in the Table Rock area, which offers beautiful views of the city. The Table Rock trails are only part of the Ridge to Rivers Trail System, which boasts hundreds of miles of foothills trails you can access from numerous parts of Northeast Boise. There are trails ideal for mountain biking and horseback riding as well as simply exploring. Northeast Boise is also the part of the city closest to Bogus Basin, a popular ski area. For water enthusiasts, Lucky Peak Reservoir is nearby and offers fishing and boating, and the Boise River goes through the city, offering opportunities for fishing, swimming, and more.

With the foothills and the city both in easy reach, Northeast Boise could not be in a better spot. Add to that the incredible homes you can see in beautiful places -- along the Boise River or in the foothills themselves -- and this place cannot be beaten. Come and check out these neighborhoods for yourself!
