Southeast Boise Homes by Neighborhoods

Residents of Southeast Boise enjoy the benefits of being close to downtown Boise, where you can find all kinds of shopping, restaurants, entertainment, social gatherings, and services. Whether you need a medical specialist or a fun party, there's a place for it here. Boise State University is in this area, with its red-brick buildings covered with ivy. Boise State often hosts performances from its own students and guests in the Morrison Center, such as plays, operas, concerts, recitals, forums, speeches, and more. Also, of course, the famous Bronco sporting events are here on campus.

Though Southeast Boise is right by all this, it is still largely a residential area, allowing a quieter atmosphere. The Boise River and the enormous city parks along it separate the area from downtown itself. Instead of constant traffic, residents are surrounded by neighborhoods with winding streets and numerous parks. There are also a few outdoor community pools for summertime enjoyment.

The Boise River and the Greenbelt line the edge of Southeast Boise, offering not only beautiful views of the trees and water but a place that offers opportunities for those who enjoy walking, running, biking, swimming, boating, fishing, and the list goes on. There is something for everyone. Barber Park is in this area for the many people who love to begin floating the Boise River there. The park has rental facilities for tubes and rafts in the summer, returnable at Ann Morrison Park. Many of Boise's most prestigious homes are along the river. Other outdoor opportunities are in the foothills near Southeast Boise. There are hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts and beginners find challenging trails. For boating, waterskiing, and wakeboarding enthusiasts, the Lucky Peak Reservoir is only about twenty minutes away from this part of town.

Southeast Boise is in the Boise School District, which commits to excellent schools and a variety of options -- much like East Boise itself. Come take a check it out today--this part of Boise might just have the ideal house for sale for you.
