West Boise Homes by Neighborhoods

The homes of West Boise vary from being built in the twenties to brand-new, from under 1,000 square feet to over 6,000 square feet.  Some have only a tiny plot for easy maintenance, and some have multiple acres with room for horses.

Though neighborhoods take up most of West Boise, entertainment, services, and shopping are still close by.  There are medical offices, bookstores, assisted living facilities, retail, gyms, grocery stores, restaurants, and much more in patches throughout the area.  The Boise Towne Square Mall is also within this part of the city, offering a central spot where you can find just about anything.

West Boise is home to a number of parks. Not only do many West Boise neighborhoods have their own park with a playground and maybe a tennis or basketball court, but some also have community pools and clubhouses.  Additionally, the city runs several parks, from the secluded, small Hewitt Park to the brand-new, spacious Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park to the popular DeMeyer Park, with its creek and picnic facilities, to the Hyatt Hidden Lakes Reserve, which has the look and feel of the foothills despite its city location, complete with foxes, birds, dirt trails, and sagebrush.  There are multiple parks nearby many of the neighborhoods in West Boise.  However, if these parks do not provide enough space and natural life for you, West Boise neighborhoods adjoins the Boise River and Greenbelt, offering residents a beautiful place with opportunities ideal for a run, stroll, bike, fish, boating, or just getting out and about.

Though West Boise is somewhat removed from Boise’s downtown area to help it stay quieter, it still is not so far away; residents can access it easily through either the freeway or Chinden Boulevard.  Residents also have easy access to Eagle, Meridian, Kuna, Nampa, Caldwell, and beyond from this location through the interstate and multiple highways that connect to this section of Boise.

West Boise homes lie mostly in the Meridian School District but partially within the Boise School District.
