What makes Highlands Hackberry Homes a great place to live?

The homes in Highlands Hackberry tend to have three to five bedrooms and a three-car garage.  The age and size vary so much that there is no real average, but a buyer can find just about anything here.  Though the size of the lot also varies, most homes are on between one-quarter and one-half of an acre each.

Highlands Hackberry is right next to Simplot Hill, a popular ice-blocking and sledding spot.  The Crane Creek Country Club is practically next door, offering golf, tennis, a pool, a fitness room, and a clubhouse.  This Boise neighborhood is also close to Harrison Boulevard, the biggest street in the Boise North End, famous for its historic houses and shops. The rest of the Boise downtown area is just south of that.  There, you can find all kinds of restaurants, nightlife, services, and entertainment.

The Highlands Hackberry neighborhood is adjacent to Bogus Basin Road, so skiers in the subdivision have an easy trip up the mountain.  Also right next to Highlands Hackberry is the Hull’s Gulch/Camel’s Back Reserve, a part of the Ridge to Rivers trail system available for hikers and mountain bikers.

Children in the area attend Boise School District schools, currently Highlands Elementary, North Junior High, and Boise High School. Because boundaries do sometimes change, parents should check the district’s website.
